I have a glorious blister to prove it, so I'm pretty pleased I am not going to be walking with Mida tomorrow, although Thursday I will definitely be out there on the promenade. But first, here's a nice pic of Lauri at the Coca Cola Colab Massive Mix Concert.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have lost quite a bit of weight so far, but it seems as if winter is making me pick it up again. So far, weighing in at approx 72/73 kg with a low of 71kg. I have cut down on my smoking (I started again), and am currently trying nicorette patches - but the temptation to smoke is still quite high. I have stopped using the Lemon Diet products, but am desperate to start taking the pills again because they are so effective - have got BioSlim tabs at home but haven't been taking them on a regular basis, only twice or three times I think. On the nail biting front - still a problem and I really need to stop this. Gym-wise it's also looking pretty bad. I need to start this blog up and going again because I must admit it was very helpful and kept me pretty focused. So the goal weight is 68kg, I need to lose the fat off my middle, butt &amp; thighs. I need to tone up my arms. Stop smoking. Stop biting my nails. Off I went to gym, arriving just after 7am. It was like walking into Bronx! So much music, so many people! The heat was overwhelming! I couldn't believe how many people were actually subjecting themselves to this atmosphere at this time of the day! I went straight upstairs and found myself a bike - not reclining this time, and not long after I had started one of my mom's acquaintances joined me on the bike next to me! We had a lovely chat about schools, etc., which made the 20 minutes absolutely fly! Then it was off to the arm machine, for another 10 minutes... surprisingly easy! I am quite impressed with myself! I am really starting to notice changes in my body... first it was my legs, then my arms, now my stomach! I think there are actually abs hidden under there!!! So far so good, but I think the most important thing that I have realised so far is that if you don't allow yourself a little leeway, you will not achieve your goals because of an intense feeling of depravation! Also, a little exercise goes a long way, and it &lt;em&gt;is&lt;/em&gt; okay to treat yourself once every now and then! I hope that this blog has found at least one other person to be an inspiration to... Big words for such small capsules. "With optimally functioning cells, Lemon Diet Quik6 will direct the body to utilise stored fat for energy, increasing energy levels, and assisting in creating a slimmer, firmer body." It does however state on the box, in small print I might add, that a kilojoule-restricted diet with exercise is recommended... well doh! I don't know if it's the pressure of going to back to college for my final term, or what, but this is not good. At least I have been making the effort of going to gym, ok, except for today... as long as I go to gym regularly and definately tomorrow I don't think I should feel too bad about the sweets and stuff... but this is not the way things should be going. I can't give up and fall short so soon! I need to buy some Smints tomorrow and get rid of all this junk food tonight! I am not sure if this is going to work, but here's the plan. This blog is to be used mainly as a space for me to focus on something that has really been bugging me for the past couple of years, my weight. I can see a lot of people moving towards the little x at the top of the screen, but wait for a second and hear me out. I hope to lose at least 5 kgs by summer, that is, by December - beach time in Cape Town. I will list my meals, and whether or not I have been to the gym or not, and exactly what I have done, and also track weekly progress. I am not sure how this is going to develop, but it is mainly to track my progress and serve as an inspiration to me to keep on going and try harder! I will update the look of the blog as I go along, so be patient, the default look won't last for long! This is my first blog, so bear with me!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I will soon upload some pictures of the parts of my body that upset me the most, and also inspirational pictures and the like. "The Smint Diet" is so-called, because my primary aim is to eliminate my cravings for snacks like chips, chocolate, and sweets that are high in sugar, by rather spending my money on sugar-free Smints.
